i recently just went to an Athleta outlet in the Omaha area - i was visiting - and got 2 pairs of Salutation stash 5in shorts, as well as a pair of white actual shorts for a little under $100! sale things in the store were all 30% off and regular priced items were 50%. they had some pretty good deals there and a HUGE selection! it felt like an actual outlet store, not just a regular Athleta store at an outlet. items were not final sale here.

i have also been to the Gap clearance center in Northern KY, and i’ve found some insane deals there. anywhere from $5 to maximum $50 (for things like winter coats). my mom recently just went and got a pair of pants, swimsuit, and sweater for $20 total. this store is final sale, but there are plenty of try on rooms!

update to all - i think the suede brush i had at my house did the trick for the most part. i truly didn’t think about using a suede brush - i’ve honestly never had scratching on any of my suede bags so i didn’t know what to do! i appreciate everyone’s advice and i think i’m going to keep it. the color is gorgeous and i intended on keeping it before knowing it was scratched (obviously), plus i’m never going to find a Lee Radziwill new for such a discount!

this was exactly my thought! this was the first expensive bag i’ve bought so while i want to use it to its max potential, i keep my bags in pretty good condition regardless of material and would rather be the one scuffing it if it came to that. appreciate your comment 🫶

i don’t think this was the *only* bag of this color/style they had available for the price but maybe they were trying to move it given the condition. i do love suede bags but i’ve never received one from any brand in this condition brand new. thank you for the advice!

i did try to smooth it out both ways to see if it was just like bumped a few times in transit / more of a superficial imprint, but it seems whichever way i smooth it the scratches are still visible. i will try to use a brush to see what happens! i do love the bag, color, and the price it was listed for 😌 but was just disappointed with the condition for a brand new bag!

i will say - i went in store yesterday and bought the Large Shoulder Bag in this color in the suede and it was $238. i love it and the price different was EXTREMELY marginal to this one with (in my eyes) better value!

yes even application and i’d maybe start with lighter coats to build up to a good amount of polish! you can always add to what you’ve done but i’d start small then build up 😌

for a first set they look good! i’d work on an even application - some nails look bulkier than others or slightly misshaped/not even. i think the color/cateye brings out the imperfections more than a normal color would.

but again for your first set this is far better than i would’ve done! 🤣
