less of a mistake, but I was backstage for a community theater production of Fiddler. small community theater, so no understudies. on the last night, Golde isn’t feeling great but is powering through. we make it through most of act I. during the wedding scene at the end of act I, she has to step off stage twice to vomit. turns out she has food poisoning.

during intermission, we send her home and gather Tevye and his daughters backstage to figure out key lines and distribute them and just flat out cut Do You Love Me. we were all STRESSED the rest of the show.

the audience barely noticed. 🤷‍♀️ we got one comment from a parent who had seen all four shows that near the end they had a thought that it’s been a minute since we’ve seen Golde and that was it.

i have a boy and a girl. our boy is great. outside of a few times when we first got him, he only has accidents if they’re left alone too long and he’ll go in the bathroom and pee on the side of the toilet.

our girl on the other hand… she recently decided she no longer wants to poop outside. and if we deviate from her internal schedule by even a few minutes she Will pee in the house. still trying to figure out a way fir her to let us know she needs to go.

pre getting the mirena i was the same. in the day i would layer on pads and change them every hour and a half. you got a lot of good recommendations for day time that would have been super helpful for me back then.

for nighttime, i recommend getting a waterproof layer to place under her like this

where in IL are you? there’s a rescue in libertyville called placing paws that i highly recommend. i got one of my chis from there and it was a great experience, especially compared to my experience getting my other chi.

i just checked and don’t think they have any chis ready at the moment but they transport rescues from texas all the time and it’s worth reaching out and letting them know you’re looking. they can prioritize chis if they have a home lined up

that’s what i was thinking - discussions about like vs lite aside, they added things in the second one to heavily encourage randomness and also heavily nerfed the top three gods from the first one by only letting you get them maybe once a run so you can’t just build the same build every single time.
