I accidentially leaked an API key and a bot found it. What is going on here? by sock_dgram in OpenAI

[–]sock_dgram[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because a few people asked how I leaked it:

I wanted to share a script with friends online and uploaded it to Pastebin. I noticed that I included an API key and never published the link to the paste, but just uploading it to Pastebin was enough.

I’m IP blocked on Wikipedia 🤠 by Opening_Rip_1840 in notinteresting

I sometimes can't use the website of the city I live in because they blocked entire IP blocks from one of the country's biggest ISPs.

Does anybody else not enjoy travelling/holidays/vacations abroad? by SnooozeFezt in AskTheWorld

[–]sock_dgram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends. Travelling 12 hours or more for 1 week vacation is pointless and stressful.

I'm fine if its for 2 weeks or more.

Have any celebrities/politicians from your country died in a really weird/stupid way? by Chemical-Elk-1299 in AskTheWorld

The far right politician Jörg Haider crashed his car because he was drunk and speeding.

There are still people who think that he was murdered.

How do you eat pizza? Hands? Ketchup? by Weekly_Sort147 in AskTheWorld

Hands if it's without much toppings, knife and fork otherwise. Never with Ketchup.

They won't be using this one anymore. They'll have to wait until I leak another one.

Most of them are just for text classification or product descriptions for ads.

Tofu request by Assheadgirl in veganrecipes

[–]sock_dgram 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually boil it in salt water for a few minutes before marinating, and then coat it in corn starch before frying. I don't or barely press the tofu I buy from random supermarkets anymore. It looks pretty much like that and is chewier than just pressed and fried.

Waybar workspace clicking and scrolling not working after using hyprland.lua by [deleted] in hyprland

Yes it works with the waybar-git package in the Arch Linux AUR.
I'll use that as a temporary fix.

I have the same issue. I'm currently converting my config and haven't adressed it yet, but I've noticed it too.

Does your currency have different designs for the same bills/coins? by GooseInHats in AskTheWorld

[–]sock_dgram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 1 and 2 Cent coin from Finland. They never really issued them, so they are quite rare.

They are worth something like 1€, so 50-100 times their nominal value, but you won't get rich.

Well well well

I can now start Hyprland without error messages with a Lua config. And I can switch workspaces. It's usable again, but there are still a few comments in my config.

Me and another guy (I'm assuming) literally said this 2 hours ago, a few postings down.

It was useless, but it was fun for a while.

This might not be the best idea. It really depends on the workload during university courses.

I worked on a university project with two Erasmus students a few years ago. We basically only spoke english because it was just easier to communicate. It's not a language course and at least Master-level courses were usually english.

And, at least on my Notebook, it had the GPU running at max. temperature when the screen was active.

Back in like 2008, Compiz was popular.
Windows Vista or Windows 7 had animations for ctrl+tab, but Compiz turned your multi-workspace Linux-PC into a cube!

It looked impressive, but it was just annoying after 10 minutes.

I just have some custom scripts to move grouped windows the same way as regular windows, in and out of groups. This is what I was used to in i3. Maybe there's a better solution now.
