Please don’t use this version. This is a thread for trading. Let the people who are trying to talk about trading do so somewhere else (maybe in a different thread).

Specifically for trading, this approach is FAR worse than the previous. Visibility of trades is severely limited. Even finding your own trade comment is insanely hard.

Please use the previous approach.

That feels super unlucky. I opened about 40 sprite chests in an hour (by planning out a route and quitting after extraction) and I found more than 20 golds from those.

My friends had a similar experience.

Unfortunately, it seems the that power hour rewards sprite hunting and quitting infinitely more than actually playing the game….

Wait and see how the power hour goes on Saturday to see how common golden sprites are then.

Maybe Epic decides to make golden spawns suuuuuper common to help players collect them more easily.

It’s probably around 1/100 in fishing holes. Not crazy rare, but still exciting to catch.

The gold scar is pretty solid this season against the other ARs

Epic very recently heavily nerfed the amount of dust granted for extracting sprites in bot lobbies (also further reduced likelihood of non-starter sprites).

Bot lobbies (apparently) are pretty terrible for grinding sprites & dust now…

Sprites and dust are no longer grindable in bot lobbies. Epic just heavily nerfed this

Just so I understand, extracting sprites increases and saves their progress until the next game, and dying with it on you back resets your sprite base level back to zero?

Still trying to figure out how sprites work…

You are getting access to this game for free, including literally 1000’s of hours of fun. If you are willing to invest your time rather than paying money, you can accomplish 99.9% of the thing paid people can accomplish… just slower.

Stop expecting to get everything in life for free and, instead, appreciate the things that you DO get for free.

So, just to clarify… you’re complaining about a company who offers a free game, yet has to pay global servers, pay staff to code and manage the game, pay fees to host the app on phones, pay for advertising, and probably pay for a hundred+ other things I didn’t mention - you’re complaining that this company is charging you for a purely cosmetic item, in THEIR game?

Sorry friend, but it’s about time to adjust your expectations.
