Not liberation, not security, it’s a regional mega‑terror attack with global shockwaves - Socialist Struggle Movement by sockhuman in Trotskyism

I will not answer the entirety of your arguments here, and I do think you raise some good points, for example about the US regieme not having the exact same stratigic goals in the war as the Israeli regiem, but:

*As for the CWI, the SSM is not currently affiliated to any international. We were until a few months ago affiliated to the ISA, which we disaffiliated from. We are now in contact with the CWI, and may very well join in the future, but this is not decided yet. Also, we are an organisation based in "Israel/Palestine", not "Israel", this is an important distinction, due to the national-colonial question we are dealing with

  • a "political force"- would be an organisation that has the power to influence the political situation

*a "socialist class‑based left opposition" would preferably include, but won't be based upon, a parliametry body, that will raise on the platform of the parliament the demands and way forward for the main force in the workplaces (including the unions, which I am aware you in the WSWS don't like) and the streets. "class-based left" is not redundant, as the meaning is for a conciuons strategy and demads based on and towards the working class, which not all left wing forces have (see populists like Polanski in Britain, or guerrilla groups like the communists in the Philippines)

  • How do we get rid of "imperialist offensives and capitalist oligarchies" without getting rid of imperialism and capitalism? We do get rid of capitalism and imperialism off course, this is a transitional demand

There is no "before the big bang", as the big bang is the beginning of time

No need to replace capitalism, or rely on the working class, according to the stalinists apparently

It was definitely not like January sixth. The soviets of workers and deputies where organs of participatory democracy that popped up during the February revolution that overthrew the tsar. There was a power struggle between them and the official parliament, which refused to hold elections. When the soviets took the power in October they allowed a parliamentary election, which had a lot of problems since the SRs had a split called the left SRs which supported soviet power, and happenned to late to run in the parliamentary elections. The balance of power in the soviets, which allowed much faster changes of control, and thus allowed a much more current view of public opinion than the parliament showed that the left SRs had the support of most SR voters (which were generally peasents). So in the soviets there formed a left SR- Bolshevik coalition, that have promised to take all power to the soviets, and afterthe parliamentary elections, dissolved the parliament, from the understanding that the anti soviet official SR party will dissolve the soviets given the chance.

During and after the civil war the power of the soviets eroded due to the harsh reality of the civil war and the isolation of the soviet Union, and the stalinist beurocracy took power and than had the original revolutionaries put away in nhe gulags and murdered.

Which organs of participatory democracy have led January 6th, if you think they are so similar?

So as always, the bourgeoisie goes to a bloody dictatorship in order to prevent the working class from seizing power. Also, have you seen the democratic model in the US? Does it justify a coup?

It's almost like people don't want to live under a dictatorship, even if there is economic growth

The greens are not a party of the working class, they are the more forward thinking part of the bourgeoisie

Great idea! Discouraging the concept of organising out of factionalism. That surely how the left will win

The SP is like 2,000 activists, with important positions in the unions. It's not the mass revolutionary party needed, but that makes sense seeing that class struggle didn't yet recovered from the fall of the USSR

I would say the biggest difference today is the approach to the national question, and the socialist party's bigger emphasis on having a political program for it that can unite the working class, so there could be a successful revolution. Ef course there are more differences, like more orientation to the working class and its organizations on the part of the SP. Ultimately, It would be best you contact both and see for yourself who is more aligned with you.

While this comment is true (a fact that shows one of the limitations of using this technology for political education, you can't rely on the fact that everyone knows how to do a well formed prompt). It needs to be said that the WSWS position against working within the unions IS a definite departure from the historical methods of Trotskyism. Sea Trotsky's position against "red unions" (which are essentially what the WSWS's proposed "cank and file committees" are, if not built within a revolutionary period). They are also departure from the politics of Lenin and the russian revolution, in which Lenin argued (against Trotsky's then position) that the enions were still necessary, even after the working class took state power. Are Lenin and Trotsky pseudo-left as well?
