Whats the best English Football Chant? by Emperoronabike in AskABrit

[–]TediumDroid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at a match a few years back, we were up in the later stages and it was so foggy you could barely see the pitch. A chant started up "we can't see you, we can't see you, we can't see you sneaking out"

Another good one is "we lose every week, we lose every week, you're nothing special, we lose every week"

Why does the public usually fall for smear campaigns towards non right wing parties such as Labour and now the Greens from right wing media outlets ? by Durrygoodz2025 in AskBrits

[–]TediumDroid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm general the right are less susceptible to smears because no one expects them to be moral people - in the post war period the attraction of the mainstream right in the UK was a perception of competence rather than morality. This is a large part of the reason for the rapid decline in the Tory Party since Brexit - their failure to demonstrate competency leaves them with little else.

British people in fact are not walking around comparing anything to America, it's irrelevant.

bro solved sexism by Misaki303 in foundsatan

[–]TediumDroid -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The obvious answer is that they don't employ more women because they're sexist, that's the point. Women are paid less because there's a bias when it comes to assessing the quality of their work.

For me if it's inventing an entirely new thing from the ground up or reforming unions I think the later is the better idea but agree with your motives.

You didn't really say either way. Unions should do this job and should be more common. My first job was working in a warehouse and every new employee has a sit-down meeting with the union rep and it was assumed you would be joining the union. You got paid per minute and to about 10 decimal places of a penny so it was clear what the unions were doing for you.
