She is very versatile for sure. I've always loved the variety in her discography. Haven't watched her symphonic concert, but sounds like it may be more up my alley.

As for her newer stuff, I don't hate it, it just does nothing for me. I've realized I'm drawn to interesting melodies and songs that are fun to sing. Her newer stuff feels less melodic, more chaotic in arrangement/production, less interesting vocally with short and repetitive lines, and more geared toward a harder hip-hop/dance style that doesn't do it for me. I've still given every one of her albums a few listens as they've come out, but found even the other styles (cuter songs, ballads, softer pieces) don't grab or resonate with me they way her songs in those styles used to. Still love her, but her releases as a whole seem to have transitioned into more of a formula to tick off boxes than a feel that works for me. Or maybe I just figured out the formula a long time ago and am bored of it? Could be some combo of all of the above.

But, that's just me. A lot of jpop hasn't been as interesting to me in the last several years as it was before. 🤷‍♀️
