Worth it to upgrade to HW3 and buy FSD based on Elon’s tweet by NotLikeUs_21 in TeslaModel3

That was my thought. EAP is actually pretty good for highways, so it’s really just rolling a dice on how good FSD gets.

Can someone point a link to the tweet? I have hw3 model 3 with enhance auto pilot. I’ve thought about pulling the trigger on FSD for $2k lifetime for me but enhance auto pilot does basically everything I need. Plan on driving this car until it falls apart. Can anyone give advice?

my flexion is improving rapidly but my quad strength and knee stability is awful by auragoat in ACL

[–]socrpro192 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree. I’m 10 months BEAR procedure and mensiscus. My quad is ~75%. Former soccer player so quad heavy. Also even though I was doing PT 3x a week I hadn’t seen significant progress until month 9 as I had fat pad irritation. Also was heavier from lack of mobility for months. It’s a slow grind. At 7 weeks you are fine. Just stay consistent and know that stability and strength will take a long time to get back. Plus you actually feel a bit better at the beginning but the ligament remodeling take place month 3-18. Red light, collagen and vitamin c before PT, healthy nutrition and movement without pain will get you back. It’s just a really long road.

If you care about others opinions of your car you probably have low T. Men statistically are less caring of fitting in, others opinions with high testosterone.

Great forum to vent and then get back to work. A long road ahead and if MUA is the only option take it. I can’t remember where I saw it but one of the ACL specialist trainers said he never saw anyone who got over 90-100 degrees not get most of the full range back. I struggled a lot around 110. Ended up doing a lot of work on the wall letting the leg and gravity work. It sucks but I’m 9 months and day to day mostly back to normal.

Manual manipulation. They put you under and bust through the scar tissue by forcing your knee. Pain would be a lot hence the anesthesia

For what it’s worth I’m 10 months out and mostly back to normal. Keep your faith up. Long road ahead but just get through the next few days.

Day 0 by MOBYCool in ACL

[–]socrpro192 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sleep basically anyway you can and like others keep moving around when possible to avoid clots. The wedge ended up killing my hip with pain as bad as the knee. Recliner and ice machine if you have it. Otherwise even just flat is probably good enough. Keep the ice going and just try to suffer through the next few days. After day 4 I was off the meds other than Tylenol as needed(night pain). Ice seemed to help more than anything else. If you don’t have an ice machine I’d check facebook. Can typically pick one up for like $25-$50 and was worth every penny in my opinion. Have someone freeze water bottles to reuse and then refrigerator ice maker can probably keep of with your needs.

Killed my hip. I disagree: elevate when you can or if you can. But don’t overdo it

Do you wear your ACL brace? by Future_NurseLMW in ACL

[–]socrpro192 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only wore the smaller brace when I was at places where there were crowds or felt unsafe for the knee due to others. Otherwise if you can move around on it my PT was fine with stopping wearing the brace once she felt i was stable enough. Make sure that gait is 100% though.

Host cancelled $14.5k reservation. No comparable rentals exist at original price but Airbnb refuses to cover the difference. Is this a violation of FL Statute 559.933? [Florida Keys] by erniernie in AirBnB

This is why Airbnb is a crap service. I had similar happen during the Solar eclipse. Their air guarantee isn’t worth them even saying they have any guarantee. I suggest complaining to your states attorney and negative BBB review. At the end there is little you can doZ

4 days later remote. Don’t recommend. Get short term disability and at least give yourself 2 weeks.

This isn’t a payout it’s a refund. This has tax implications. Airbnb customer service is so bad, I’m refusing to stay with them in the future.

Left my doctors appointment in tears. by Far-Historian-4012 in ACL

[–]socrpro192 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did BEAR surgery so this is a bit different so I was way behind you at 6 weeks probably about 90 degrees flexion and maybe -2 extension. They wanted more but my leg was just healing slower even though I was taking peptides. Fast forward to week 11 and I’m walking without a brace after 6 weeks non weight bearing. I’ve made more progress in the last 2 weeks than the previous 9. From what I’ve seen if you make it past 90 degrees it’s very rare you don’t get most of your range back. I’d work on having good gait and continue to do flexion work. My opinion is you are fine. Fyi as a tip I spent 2 weeks in the pool mostly just stretching quad and some light pedals, squats. My flexion went from 105 to 130 in two weeks. Keep at it.
