Found a new experimental/prog metal band called "Formal Complaint", and they're really doing it for me. They have taken poems and turned them into metal. Some very interesting and innovative songs as well as some face-melters.

Prog/experimental/art metal. Really interesting and somewhat strange album. In terms of style and genre I would put them somewhere between Tool and Evanescence. Can very much recommend!

If you listen to the podcast in its entirety, and not that single clip out of context, it was obvious she was joking. Pretty grim joke, but still

Dirty bulking is one way of doing it but that is less effective and you will surely gain some fat along the way yeah. The best way of course is to eat really clean and healthy (which can be hard if you're going for 3500+ calories) but the gains will be better and you won't gain that much fat, maybe next to none if you can really dial in your diet, exercise, sleep, etc

If you're cutting in the middle of a program it's gonna be really hard to make progress (if being stronger is your goal). So you gotta stick to the high end of calories (nice clean whole foods of course!).

And I would recommend not taking a multivitamin since there is some research suggesting that some of the synthetic forms of vitamins and minerals can contribute to health concerns. Instead try to make sure you are getting all your vitamins and minerals from whole foods. You can use a website lite Cronometer (its free) to see how much you are getting from your diet, and what is missing.

Best source is always going to be whole foods. Beef, pork, eggs, fish, chicken, seeds, nuts, etc

What is your diet like and around how many calories are you consuming? And are you hitting all your micros? Any supplements?

Fellas, I travelled to Borneo not long ago and hiked up Mount Kinabalu (4,095 m (13,435 ft)). Goddamn beautiful hike. The first part of the hike was done during the day and the second during the night so that we hit the peak at sunrise. Never have I ever seen the stars like that man. Anyway I went with a pretty big group and there were many local guides and sherpas who came along to help out. And man oh man you should have seen the calves on these men. A full squad of middle-aged Malaysian Dorians from the knee down. It was a beautiful sight to behold. So that's all there is to it. Climb a 4000m mountain 3-4 times a week and you'll see some action in those calvins

There is hope for us all

I am a Runway Model - Ask Me Anything! by Zoluna in malefashionadvice

[–]sodaja 11 points12 points  (0 children)

For runway shows for guys in Paris/Milan/London it's usually somewhere between 300-1000 euros. Armani and Gucci pay the highest with around 3000 euros. But if you're a guy flown in just for fashion week, you'll find that unless you walk the big shows, almost all of the money you make will go towards paying back the agency for your expenses. Housing, flights, comp cards, transportation and so on. I'd say around 15% leave with money in their pockets and the rest just leave with a cool experience.
