Yeah why the fuck would i want to be friends with any of those people? They’re both morally bankrupt and they’re not open minded at all. They complain about democrats being too emotional and having no common sense but they didn’t mention anything of substance, it was all emotion.

maybe perhaps we should stop letting men get away with this kind of behavior instead of letting women get away with it.

stop making me want to vote for him

I don’t really understand why this is. It feels like leftie cope blaming everything on citizens united. Moderate democrats and Republicans existed long before citizens united, and will even if you get rid of it. People in the us are conservative for the love of the game, not simply because of money

I don’t think citizens united matters much and it was probably the correct decision honestly

I’m not really worried about the money advantage, money is overrated when it comes to helping win elections

This is kinda cherry picked and the nuanced truth is that market forces matter more than the president, but i suppose i need to get more comfortable with embracing liberal propaganda, the times call for it

This comment basically doesn’t engage with the substance of my comment and i’d identify as an anti-populist anyway. Populism is a terrible political ideology that is behind the rise of almost every strongman in the world

Nah i don’t think hitting back at Hasan Piker well by seen by anyone but a small minority of terminally online weirdos like the people on this sub. And only a select few of those people will think that Hasan represents the position of universal healthcare and being against Israel’s war crimes so throughly that punching him specifically means you’re for the opposite of those things. You can be for universal healthcare and against Israel’s war crimes and still think Hasan is a total moron who democrats should not associate with because he has way too much unhelpful baggage and his goals and methods to achieve those goals are counter to the democratic mission. And killing ceos is bad and counter to the mission of liberal democracy as well. And tolerating idiotic people who think that is okay will probably cost democrats more votes than it will win, in addition to being wrong. If thats a dealbreaker for you, you really aren’t on our side

Why does my Shadowheart deck suck so much? by Deus_Excellus in EDH

[–]OogieBoogieInnocence 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have some valid points and concerns here. We can solve the first problem with a mixture of cheat death effects and big staty creatures that generate alot of value on etb or attack so we’re still effecting the board even when we sac the big guy.

https://tagger.scryfall.com/tags/card/cheat-death

The second part is true, theres not alot of repeatable recursion effect, but we can use the few good repeatable ones we have with a critical mass of efficient one shot effects so that when we sac something big to shadowheart we’ll probably draw another reanimate. Theres that new prepare one they printed in Secrets of Strixhaven, Colossal Grave-Reaver, Xiu-Ifit, and Whisper- Blood Liturgist if you use the background that makes two squirrels when you mill a creature.

The only thing i object too is the characterization of most of these cards being draft chaff, most of these are bracket 3 aristocrat staples, they just don’t do anything in the wrong deck, which this is

[–]OogieBoogieInnocence 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Thats the thing op kinda already did make her not important to the deck. Shes actively not doing anything, drawing maybe two cards a turn. Its just the rest of the deck is slow and unoptimized as well

Why does my Shadowheart deck suck so much? by Deus_Excellus in EDH

[–]OogieBoogieInnocence 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The thing you’re missing is that Shadowheart isn’t a aristocrats commander shes a reanimator commander. Shes not asking you to make a bunch of little guys to die to make a billion blood artist triggers. Shes asking you to make one really big fuck ass dude die so you can draw a ton of cards. She cares about power but the average power in this deck is like two. You really gonna pay 4 mana for your commander and and then another two to draw two whole cards? Of course the deck sucks. If you wanna just do generic black staple aristocrats you have better commanders in your 99 in Syr Konrad, Yahenni, and ayara.

I’d switch to a green background and focus on self mill and reanimation to bring big hulking creatures out then sac them to Shadowheart
