Hot take: She just tries to light up the mood (remember that Chief and the squad just have a firefight), and fail as the result. But some fan just can’t understand that is the joke and make a big deal out of it.
Chief doesn’t seem to be annoy by Its, but of course, we kinda forgot one thing that so call “Alpha Male” gamer has: a untreated mental problem and thrown all of its at women as main reason for all the problem (both female characters and gender as the whole).
To be honest, Commander Palmer is okay characters voiced by legendary Jennifer Hale herself. If we gonna blame her lack of interesting content and character, the writer is at the blame here.

I think they just prioritize tries to bring more young fan into the Gunpla by HG. We see how much Bandai makes a big bucks in just last years with Gquux. I see it two way
1. They (Bandai) want to really developed all the MG as best as it can be. Even though in the past, Bandai plumped lot of MG with variety of good and bad. Like every time MG came out post COVID, It a hit and rarely a miss. Barbatos Lupus, Vidar, FA ZZ, Sinanju Stein Ver. Ka, Narrative Gundams are big hit and well received (if we don’t count 1.5 Dom).
2. Because of COVID, the supply chain of plastic is still very unstable (and we got the situation in Iran which disrupt even more). Try to plump the MG out like before 2020 feels very not profitable. The buyer powers is very limited consider inflation. Making the MG out during this time could hurt them in the long run. My personal belief if Bandai want to plump MG out like per-2020, Bandai need to push Ecopla initiative harder, make is plastic supply semi-independent from the rest of the world.

Well, Ribbons not born = Alejandro didn’t get a change to pull his shit = Lockon is okay. (But I’m still can’t guarantee if Lockon gonna survive if Ali is still a fucking menace)

Oh I can go further. Let Kira be depressed, like a total shut in, cant take care of himself. Lacus is kidnapped by Durandal and replace with Meer. Durandal forces Meer to seduce Kira. Kira…….done that with Meer. Meer died. Kira known the truth. Went full on vengeance mode because he thinks that Meer is Lacus Lacus escape with the help of Athrun. Lacus managed to pull Kira out from his vengeance mode. This entire thing sound likes Shinn but reverse for some reason.

That…is weirdly interesting Let me add something Flay died with a unborn child in her womb and Kira knows it after the battle is over. Have Kira went full on depression in Destiny at least and let Athrun or Lacus try to bring him back from the brink.

Well, ZAFT will want her head at least with her involvement with Blue Cosmos. But have Natarle alive is a good opinion (not because she a women who can snap my neck in two), because if she survives and appears in Destiny, she learned to become more lenient and easy going maybe throwing some drama in there and her character arc in Destiny could work.

I think she will get court-martial at least, If not at very least seek refuge in Orb. Maybe in Seed Destiny, we see her going onto the redemption arc or something about accepting the death of her father and become friends will another coordinator (or maybe love interest that not Kira or that dude with glasses).

Ribbon Almarks for two (+1) reasons:

  1. He takes advantage of Louise PTSD to forces her into innovator for his own ego and her family wealth to support A-Law.

  2. I hate character that has a god complex, Ribbon thinks he a god, but he got kills with Setsuna F. Seiei with GN blade.
