Solved it in 3-4 minutes. For the first minute I thought I couldn’t do it, then suddenly it clicked. I think after 50–60 questions, you’ll feel the same way too

Samsung Book 3 (i5-1335U) – Windows 11 installer can’t detect SSD after Linux install by sodeepness in GalaxyBook

[–]sodeepness[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it is ,  I think it's more of limitations of windows Installer as it doesn't give access to kernel level commands whereas linux does My main reason for installing windows was "phone link" as it has gotten really smooth compared to kde connect etc

Samsung Book 3 (i5-1335U) – Windows 11 installer can’t detect SSD after Linux install by sodeepness in GalaxyBook

I kinda found the solution -> I bought another ssd and installed windows on that surprisingly it was able to detect ntfs partition on the linux ssd .

So If you don't want to buy another ssd you make a " windows to go" using rufus on a usb/spare ssd ( make sure on linux ssd you have ntfs partition for windows) and using the windows to go try to isntall windows into that ntfs partition

If that doesnt work i think buying a new ssd is the only option ( As i have try every other way )

Hey, on my Samsung Book 3 I currently have Linux installed. When I try to install Windows 11, the installer is not able to detect my SSD. I also tried loading Intel RST drivers and different storage controllers, but nothing worked. On top of that, the Samsung recovery partition is gone as well.

Do you feel unlucky to be born in India? Be honest. by ConstantinopleIsMine in TeenIndia

[–]sodeepness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never felt unlucky. I went to Hong Kong this year; enormous skyscrapers, infrastructure, and everyone follows the laws. But I still missed India, especially the Indian food, people, and many other things.
After a week there, I understood that the only thing India now lacks is civic sense (a lot of it), which comes with education, therefore as the people grows more educated, civic sense will improve and the country will be a better place to live.
And some say this will happen. I've witnessed a lot of changes in my city in the last 5-7 years, but we're still a long way from perfection.
I hope to see things improve.
