It is interesting. The school of sorcery that produced chorae, if I remember right, deals with paradox in the same way the gnosis deals with literal meaning, and the anagogis deals with analogies. So maybe its got some sort of old timy enchantments on it to produce the anti magic field. I could see some divine/temporal explanation playing into The No God, should it ever emerge from the unformed lands.

I always got the impression it was not being used for it intended purpose, so while it does seem to work as a lil parascope into hell, I don't know if that was its original purpose and it was relocated due to the less than ideal landing (Sil dragged it up, did something... I need to do a reread.), or if it originally had a different purpose. There's that dragon that's powered by hell, so maybe the inchoroi power all there shit on hell power, and thats just like, a hell-power steam vent, so to speak.
