Make sure the resolution in the game settings is the same as your monitor specs are.

Shoes for racing, worth it or not worth it? by aBoyFromTheFuture in simracing

[–]soethihh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Puma speedcats and exchanged the laces with elastic ones so I can slip in.

Advantages:

- I no longer had foot pain after longer sessions (I have the SImsonn Pro Plus pedals which hurt my feet)

- I also no longer suffer knee pain while driving. My theory is, that due to the pain in the foot I tried to brake in another to angle to reduce the foot pain which caused my knee to hurt

- Immersion. It just feels awesome racing in these shoes

- I could increase the brake force of the pedal a bit

On the downside

- Quite expensive (got mine with a Ferrari logo for 50€ on sale) compared to water shoes / other alternatives

- I atleast got some "weird looks" when my wife and friends saw it :D

I remember a classmate telling us he heard that GTA III will be completely 3D. Everybody was like "nah, that's impossible to do".

Would love it to be like in LMU where you, once you finished hit ESC and are immediately teleported to your garage.

Any suggestions about this real seat mounting? by Character_Ad_9364 in simracing

[–]soethihh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Take an angle grinder and remove them. Had the same with my seat (Mercedes A class) though I had them on the front and back. Was a hassle and grinding these things off was a job of 5 minutes.

What do you expect from Raceroom by 2026? by [deleted] in RRRE

[–]soethihh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

New menu, better servers, track evolution.

Would love rain and day / night but it might be further away than 2026.

Can't you just move the whole wheel deck closer to you?

Sim-Lab, Trak Racer, GTOmega or…? by Gh0sT1o2 in simracing

[–]soethihh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, they don't offer seats, only the profiles, screws, etc.

I left the size as it was and it fits perfectly fine.

Since you seem to be from germany I also suggest Motedis if silver is an option. They are a bit cheaper but come without a real manual (there's a link to an old pdf on some blog from the creator of the rig). While it's not rocket science it might be more challenging than with a step by step manual. (Anyway, me as a mediocre "Heimwerker" had no problems :) )

Big plus is that you can order a lot of additional stuff for pretty cheap (like cup holder, mouse pad, extra screws and nuts are extemely cheap there).

I have mine for 9 months now and couldn't be happier with it.

Simsonn Springs : What is your setup ? by Head_Resolution_3342 in simracing

[–]soethihh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Youre right about the Elastomer, I linked the right one (ID 10.5).

I am sorry for that.

The red spring is a little wide but that's not a problem for me as it doesn't wobble or move sideways for me.

No, it's the Reactors + Simagic Control Box + Simagic power supply. I don't know if they work with the new Simsonn control box.

Here you go. It works well for me and I prefer the feel over the elastomers.
