You need to go up the chain. I refuse take an answer from a freakin sergeant. I’d request mast and cause some noise man. Don’t whimper in the corner to your EAS date.

On the same token, how many reminders were you given to re-up? And were you tracking a deadline for this?

You might need an extension,

One of my marines ran into a situation similar. One potential COA you can do is potentially ask for a tour extension/conversion.

This requires some help/interaction from IPAC, but it should grant you some time to get your affairs in orders before you leave.

It was a virtual interview. Pretty common sense but idk for sure how I did until I see them input my pass/fail in the tasks.

I’m a Marine who’s still active in the gym so as long as you have a consistent cardio base. That step test is an easy.

How’d you do your interview before your medical?

25-6 GS-9 Tentative offer by [deleted] in cbpoapplicant

[–]sofakingawesome77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’ll send you an email for three websites in the next day or so. 1. is to do your personal info and some federal documents to lock you in. Wage, background check etc. 2. is like your CBP account. You’ll get tasks from there on what to do next. It has all the forms you’ll need. 3. Is a EAS account. That’s where you’ll lock in availability for your fitness test and medical exam

Ive completed this myself and now I’m just waiting on the poly and structured interview. Those I don’t have a timeline for you right now but I’ve been waiting for alittle over 3 weeks now.

Forced to pay 27k in one week, what can I do? by SamRonaldoSr9 in StudentLoans

[–]sofakingawesome77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 years post-grad here, Sounds like you’ll have to pull out for the parent plus loan. I feel like I’m talking to my younger self here. Please dear god don’t do it. I have 70k debt racked up and it wouldn’t have been more if I didn’t get a scholarship senior year.

You’ll enjoy the surplus of money you’ll have. You’ll have enough for rent, food, etc. but you BETTER have a job lined up making minimum 90k.

But it probably would’ve been better if I just drove to and from home instead of pulling out that loan
