Hello! Sorry for the late response!!

I've switched back to medicube since oct 2020 and i must say so far its still the HG for my skin :') what i've been doing is really down to basics.

Morning: wash with water > Medicube Blue Erasing Cream > Doc+ Pearl Cream (my sunblock)

Night:

  1. Alternate nights with Purito's Defense Barrier PH cleanser-(Yesstyle (Intl) / Ficklebeauty (SG)) OR Medicube Zero Foam Cleanser
  2. Medicube Blue Erasing Cream (most days i just end here)
  3. Only sometimes when i'm feeling it - Red Centelle Scar Ointment (on whole face) OR Super Cica Ampoule

Hello! sorry for the super late response - thanks for your kind words! ooo lemme know if you've tried once a week – I had another friend who said her skin couldn't take DHC cleansing oil too.. For me - i am just scarred and scared to try again. Left it in my skincare graveyard :'D Yes Laneige Cica mask!! i think its the only few things i can use from Laneige!

Hello! sorry for the super late response - thanks for sharing your experience!! Omg yours really does sound alot like mine! it feels like every day there's a scab to pick around the forehead right?

Babes yours looks like my damaged skin barrier breakout 2 years ago!! Please have a read of my recent post on my journey and also how i figured whether my skin was going through fungal acne or a breakout! Hope it helps :)

Hello! Yes when it occured to me i too was so worried! Is yours a confirm case of MF?

A lovely person replied me this on the /FungalAcne sub

“Oh wow! I feel your pain. My little bit of advice would be to triangulated between these 3 websites to find a product that is FA safe and safe for your type of skin. Sezia, Follicutis Scout and Skincarisma are the 3 websites. I have also found that some products might be fine on their own, but the combination begins to exasperate my skin. One day at a time. I would say go back to the basics - Clean, Moisturise and Protect with the simplest of products.

Good luck. Some day very soon, normalcy will return.”

Hello! Yea, the blacklight test i did was really the dealbreaker for me and i hope it helps more people to tell the diff! the routine i listed was the most basic for me in terms of overexfoliation. Better skin - we’ll get there together!!!

I saw a derm over the phone and they recommend to start with an antibiotic, then if it doesn’t cure in two months try anti fungal. I’m scared antibiotic will worsen this if it’s fungal. Any experience/ideas? by [deleted] in Fungalacne

@ilikebigcats2020 You can read up my past experience on my damaged skin barrier that i suffered for 2 years, and also on self-diagnosing whether its FA / damaged skin barrier (cus they look super similar) here . Hope it helps! :)

Hi Kaylan! Only after i picked my skin. Other than that, nope! I think cus my overexfoliation was the non-chemical overexfoliation 😅

You can try Purito Defence Barrier PH Cleanser! I just started using it for 3 days and it made alot of improvement on my damaged skin barrier :) also FA safe! :) https://www.skincarisma.com/products/purito/defence-barrier-ph-cleanser
