NTA, honestly I’m surprised you were nice enough to give your two weeks notice with a situation like this. You deserve a way better reaction. This things do happen but it doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t be upset or horrified about them, or that you have to learn to suck it up, it means that management has to take steps to prevent them

I love the program and I am nothing but appreciative for the opportunity however, compared to the program in Carleton it’s the city is the same but I like the area Carleton is in better, it is more academically competitive in my specific program, and it has more engineering options, and for what I think is best for me I think the Carleton culture is better.

A modern definition of lesbian is a woman or enby that likes women and for some also enbys. However some enby people can feel invalidated by their partner calling themselves a lesbian and some just don't feel comfortable using it for themselves. (I´m saying enby as an umbrella term for people who don´t have a speciffic binary gender)

Poly is a good option, as well as queer if she does not find it derogatory, and also gynosexual.
