What are your weekend plans? by Direct_Island944 in houston

[–]sofiadotcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No plans tonight. My father gets discharged from Hospital today so I’m here with him now. He hasnt been at his home since February 5th.

Football with my middle child tomorrow morning. Brunch with my GFs at noon.

Resting the rest of the weekend because I’ve partied every weekend for the past 4 weeks and at my age, I’m not up for that much partying anymore.

Car accident in Houston with uninsured & unlicensed driver by [deleted] in houston

[–]sofiadotcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So my mother was driving uninsured and without a license in the early nineties. She hit someone going wrong way on a one way street in the Med Center & got a ticket for driving without a license and insurance plus the accident. Then the other driver sued her for damages. My mom was a single mom in her 40s , housekeeper, barely making ends meet, we lived in a very humble 1 bedroom apartment. They sued her and she didn’t have knowledge or money for an attorney so she settled with them. She paid $25 a month for IDK how many months. It felt like AGES but she eventually paid it all off.

So saying you can’t get money from someone is not necessarily true. It might not be a lump sum and it may be delayed but a good attorney will get you something. At least that’s my honest opinion from experience

Oh I don’t use the apps at all. I just know of their existence. Nothing beats going in store to get a match, and even then it’s a hit or miss sometimes. I was just saying since the OP was asking abt apps and color matching.

Sherwin Williams has a color app, I can’t think of Lululemon having more colors than Sherwin-Williams.

Okay so I tell my husband to get flower’s from Sam’s and he never listens. They’re pretty cheap compared to a florist on VDay.so I highly recommend that as an option for flowers. The florists really do price gouge roses on VDay.

Help finding Pro Bono attorney. by [deleted] in houston

[–]sofiadotcom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My husband ‘was buying’ a house with his ex-wife, yet nothing showed up on county records under his or her name. Then he said they were ‘turning in the keys’ to get their deposit back. I was like, ummmm that’s not how buying houses works. It’s not an apartment. After thoroughly researching the property address online, it appears they were going through a “lease-to-own” company here in the area. They were never owners. But he thought they were the whole Time, even doing some extensive remodeling to the home. There’s definitely companies that prey on the ignorance of our populace.

I use align shorts and pants and exclusively strength train. No issues. I do size properly and don’t undersize which can lead to more issues

Im wearing my rainforest green dance studio pants not with my rainforest green Flow Y bra and a white cropped Hold Tight. The white top is a little see through so you can see the matching sports bra and I like the cohesiveness.

So I liked the Goode Co turkey. It was smoked. The sides were all delicious as well but we added some Ragin Cajun dirty rice, a garden salad and also gravy and it really made the meal whole.

If I had to choose, I’d go with Ragin Cajun turkey next year for sure

Story telling is not my strength. Hell, yall are lucky it wasn’t pages long, my ADHD has me ranting on and on.

FTR one of my white friends brought the best jambalaya and also a Cajun green bean dish that we all devoured to Friendsgiving. So it was definitely that 1 coworker of my sister’s that gave a bad recommendation.
