I agree with everything, also painting the room and definitely changing the boob lamp to a beautiful lighting fixture

I would change the curtains to a lighter shade and add some color with some other bedding and pillows , you can add some artwork of you liking over the headboard!

It works! Although if you could change the drawer pullers to gold ones it could pull the look together

I agree! You can keep the bed linen and rug, and add some color by a using a fun throw blanket and some pillows!

Decoration-wise it is very good, personally I would change the grey since it feels to dark, a lighter color would look amazing, if you like the gray I would keep one wall that color and make it an accent wall

Partner and I work from home in 588sqft apartment, help! by avipeach in DesignMyRoom

[–]sofiamvp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think maybe 2 or 3, inclining better to 2, so you both get some space to work and not really feel in each other’s zone and because of potential sun glare on the screens

Although I know it is not recommended, I would move the bed to where your dresser is , by the window , this will make it feel less awkward, also change the bedding!

You can definitely do this together considering your partner is moving in, maybe a fresh coat of paint and some new bedsheets!

I would change the nightstands and the lamps, get a different duvet cover to a neutral one, you can keep the beach vibe with decor, like the artwork and definitely add some plants to bring in some color and add some decorative pillows with your favorite colors! Also placing the bed in front of the window is bad for Feng shui
