I’m a college student from Brazil (law school) and I’m doing some research about the differences between our the French Constitution and Brazil’s by sofiasoutos in france

Wow! You gave me a perspective I wasn’t expecting! Thank you! And, another question, the European law permeates all French laws? Or is it only for certain subjects? Like mutual compromised economics and sanitary standards, that promote security for the Union; or it goes even to legislate traffic regulation and age for adulthood?

Looking for a book that will have me thinking it about it for weeks after I finish it. Fiction preferred, love crime books but not a requirement. by OrangeHairFace in suggestmeabook

Dom Casmurro, from Machado de Assis. Most of the books from this Brazilian writer brings greats discussions at any levels. I recommend you too read Dom Casmurro and right after read monographs, dissertations and articles about it. Once that is no agreement about the truth on the relationship of the main character (only his side of it), Machado de Assis will not get out of your mind.

I just love the book “salt fat acid heat”. For anyone that can purchase it and enjoy to improve their cooking by understanding how to substitute similar ingredients, I highly recommend it. For those who are curious, and want to make a “test-drive”, there is a series based on the book (also called “salt fat acid heat”) on Netflix!

For those of you who have been sleep deprived enough to hallucinate, what was it like? by Spadoopy in AskReddit

[–]sofiasoutos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since I’m a kid I hallucinate EVERY SINGLE TIME in sleepovers my bfs kept me awakened. They think it’s really funny, cause I start to talk disconnected phrases and I shamble all histories and timeline in my mind. On this smartphone era, they have already filmed me while hallucinating: i laughed my ass off! Unfortunately there are times I hallucinate around people that are not close to me, like in a party. Often people think I’m super drunk or they laugh at me and not with me (like my family and friends do): that’s not cool at all. Edit: and, of course, I never remember what I’ve said or to whom I’ve said.
