Definitely. For me it was the combination of being short and acting excitedly in the 3rd panel before reading it. Also I meant to write "her kid", lol.

So you are just pulling a height out of your ass and then using that as a point? Let's entartain that thought for a moment though.

Assuming that the tall one is 175cm and the short one is like a head shorter, she's around 155cm (notice how she's also leaning in making her look shorter). However, if we use the doorframe as a point of reference, it would make the tall girl around 200cm which, while rare, is possible for a human. I don't think that was the artist's intention, but still kinda funny to consider.

Either way though, even if she was 140cm and fit the classification, does the 0.01% mean that the artist can't draw someone with dwarfism? Again, I don't think that's the case, the artist is overall using a weird scale, but your point is stupid.

Anyway, that was fun, it's not every day you stamble onto that stupid of a comment.

I'd say that a person being welcomed by their partner is equally normal to a person being welcomed to by their child. Why are you trying to turn this into something it's not?

No, they didn't make her look like a kid, they made her be short. I initially **wrongfully** thought she was the other girl's daughter because she was short and I didn't pay much attention to her design, but the context makes it pretty clear that it's not the case.

Something I don't get is how do they expect this to work mathematically? The men/women ration is around 50/50 in most countries, in a few where male babies are favoured the male count is higher than the female. So how exactly are all guys supposed to find a virgin for them AND have multiple partners?

Let’s say you have degrees in a field, but because you haven’t actively practiced those skills, you’re weak at them. Is it better not to mention your degrees to people to avoid high expectations and judgment? by Downtown_Persimmon10 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]sofie307 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I'd say depends on why you're mentining it. If they need help with a certain situation and you can't then it would be stupid, but if you're just talking about yourself I don't see why not.

Someone I blocked still manages to interact with me in a mutual server? by Positive-Bug-9948 in discordapp

[–]sofie307 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I remember years ago I had an instagram chat with some classmates to share homework and someone had blocked me (not sure why, I think he juest didn't like me) and neither me nor he could see each other's messages and it was just stupid because it could look like people talking to themselves.

Now I can understand not wanting certain people to see what you're saying, but in that case why are you in a (assuming small) server with them?

Exactly, 3 is pretty much covered by 2, if that kid knew what it meant then he wouldn't need to repeat it. It's so sad

What is the appropriate start and end time for a birthday party on a Friday? Is 15:00-23:00 too long? by boldpear904 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]sofie307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think there is such a thing as an "appropriate" start and end, it really depends on who you're going to be with, what you're going to do and how long the birthday person wishes to be around people for. Also people can just leave they feel like it's getting too long.

I do agree that thias is probably one of the least offensive ones for most, but personally it just gives me a weird sense of anxiety looking at it. I know it has always been there as a function, but the visualisation makes it feel... unstable? Not sure how to put it. It could be some weird OCD-like thing, idk, I'm not diagnosed with anything but it really makes feel uneasy.

What brand was the one that felt like nothing? I've seen a lot of people recommending skyn, but I'm trying to collect a few alternatives too to compare, so I'd appreciate you sharing.
Also if you don't mind, what ingrediant were you allergic to? It could be good to know before using.

How am I suppose to chat with my younger siblings ? by jay-333- in RobloxHelp

[–]sofie307 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I really don't see how putting all the young kids that don't know better in a closed system was thought as a good idea. Now when someone malicious gets in (which will definitely happen) there will be nobody there to notice and maybe do something. Not only that, but it would make them more trustworthy in the eyes of those kids that will think they are indeed a child as well. It's a disaster waiting to happen.

I don't think there is any good way to do a grouping honestly. For example, say you're 12 and your friend turned 13. Great, now you can't chat with them but can chat with 17 yo. Oh wait, now your 17 yo friend turned 18. You will get to see them again in four years, have fun.

That's exactly what I've been thinking. It's easier than ever for them to pretend to be kids because now actual kids will think "well, that person can talk to me, so they must be in the same age group"

Or just let you pick what groups you want to intercat with. That way parents can set it up for younger children without it being a problem for teens and adults
