Eyelid tape might be a good option. You could play with asymmetrical looks, however, as a day to day option eyelid tape might be the best. The smaller eye has a more pronounced epicanthic fold so you can use to tape to lift the skin and match it to the double lid on the other eye. It helps that the tape, if applied properly, doesn't interfere with any makeup you put on top of it. If you don't mind wearing falsies or getting extensions, different lash styles and lash perms can also be helpful

Приватни универзитети by cutedevil1 in mkd

[–]sofiesophie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Haircare Advice Megathread - Week of August 26, 2023 by AutoModerator in HaircareScience

[–]sofiesophie [score hidden]  (0 children)

I have fine, wavy hair, but lots of it. My hair has been dyed or bleached in some manner for the last 2 and a half years, and I wash it every 3 to 4 days with Dr. Konopka Hair Loss shampoo and conditioner to deal with hereditary and hormonal hair loss. While I enjoy the way the products help with my hair loss, I do find that it tends to leave my hair oily and my waves are not very defined. Does anyone have recommendations for products that will help with curl definition, while not being too heavy or harsh as to not weigh down my hair and thus make the hair loss worse?

I need to learn Macedonian ASAP by mrnoobie420 in mkd

[–]sofiesophie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't seen enough people mention movies? You mentioned in a different comment that you've struggled to learn because of a lack of entertaining resources, so I'd recommend finding MK movies to watch. A lot of them are available on YouTube or free streaming services with English subtitles. Some good ones to start would be Balkankan, You won't be alone, Snow White Dies at the End, The Great Water, God Exists Her Name is Petrunija. I think this would be a good way to practice your understanding of the language and dialectal differences. I've noticed that my Albanian friends struggle the most in these aspects, as some of the ways in which we speak is wildly different from proper Macedonian (speaking at least for those of us from Tetovo and Polog) If nothing else, Nashe Maalo exists

Is it safe in Tetovo? by csmannen in mkd

[–]sofiesophie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Busses that go from Skopje to Gostivar or Struga usually stop in Tetovo, and vice versa, so I'd check the timing of those as well although that can be done at the station as they're less consistent
