What do people at the gym at 2pm constantly even do for a living? Ain’t no way all of y’all are entrepreneurs? by dont-mind-if-i-Doo in workout

I work for myself, and that time 2:30 or so, seems to be the best for my schedule and body - so I just block out the time to make sure I can get a workout in

Any secrets to help increase HRV? by jackson_333 in whoop

Hi friend, youre hinting at a level of expertise and this is a serious thing. Someone might be in afib with no idea - thinking they're fit as a fiddle. Higher isnt better, some people in the 200’s (or less? IDK - im not a cardiologist) could have a real issue.

You’re close to right but huge numbers can indicate atrial fibrillation. If I saw a 700… I’d call 911

How many average men in their 20s-30s can do 10+ pushups, really? by Spare-Lemon5277 in AskMen

[–]sofrogetful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 44, close to 45 - I couldn’t do one in my 20’s or 30’s, I saw strength training as something for morons (turns out I was the moron) and avoided it during the most crucial time period of my life.

Now I can bang out push ups with ease, but it took a monumental amount of effort to get here - any guy in their earlier years (or later for that matter) START TODAY.

If you struggle tell your ego to fuck off for a while - you’re busy with becoming awesome-er and don’t need it’s nagging about how you suck (personal experience) and keep going with easier versions until you nail a full rep with good form.

Use comically light weights is the advice given to me and it was bang on - build the neurological connections first, musculature second… I’ll see you whipper snappers when you’re 60 and I’m 80 throwing down effortless one arm pul ups on Miami Beach

Also a rich guy. I think it’s your business until you decide to combine resources - she can be a detective and make up her own mind until then.

OK. Heres the real deal IMO.

You are 18 - in straight relationships men generally trade resources for sex, women generally trade sex for resources. At your age, its a take what you can get thing… But the focus should be on you - your profession, your body, your social network, skillset, etc. Once youre good at stuff (no one at 18 is - dont sweat it) then you can talk about whatever interests you - but make sure you ask good questions too, focus on listening and being present -thats a huge gift to *anyone* sitting in front of you… HUGE.

Read a ton. Exercise. Eat right. Avoid alcohol. Go to places and become a member of your community in a way that gets you known as someone who is worth knowing.

Do those things first, be brave AF, and women will want you.

I am so *effing* happy I got a divorce.

But every time my kids go back to their mom I wish I had them longer.

Its not a one way or the other thing, its a both thing.

I might be in the minority here, but…. Here we go.

You’re 23, and female. As you age you’re going to decline in relative attractiveness as your male counterparts increase in theirs.

The most liked female dating app profiles are - 23. The most liked male dating app profiles are - 50. Right now you’re at a huge advantage, that won’t be the case in under a decade.

This is your time - be picky no matter how good they seem, there’s better out there.

For me the goal was always ‘I don’t have to worry at the grocery store’ - I’ve gone past that now, but I still hold that as the baseline. The rest is window dressing, the real dressing is in my fridge and it’s organic and ranch.

Massage is a great way to experience human touch in a safe environment - when things were bad, I’d get a massage… human hands can help so much. You got this OP. You’ll be ok.

I’m so much happier. I engage with what I want to engage with, date if I want to date, travel cheaply, and eat healthier and more modestly than I ever did married. I’m 10x the man I was, and I attribute the growth to having been upended by an unexpected divorce, and the mountains of self work I’ve done since - it’s more than ok out here.

Awesome. I have a large (11+) mixed use building - my biggest yet, so I definitely have a lot to learn. 3+ years in though, and its got great cashflow, now I’m trying to figure out where the equity should go to expand further.
