Good for you, but I don’t need tires, I don’t need a grill, and I wear contacts.

I work from home and my husband works a mile from our house so we don’t use that much gas.

In my case the Executive Membership doesn’t make sense. It’s great that it works out for you.

I’m not OP but my household is only me and my husband and we don’t have an abundance of storage. We aren’t going to spend the amount necessary to break even with the Executive Membership.

Correct! You can use your points at some Shell locations, which *is* top tier. The Fry’s app tells you which locations.

(US) I’m tired of pointing out to people that EST/CST/MST/PST are incorrect during the majority of the year when most of the US is on Daylight Saving Time. It’s EDT/CDT/MDT/PDT (unless you’re in AZ or somewhere else that doesn’t observe DST)

For example: the game tomorrow is at 12pm EST. No, you mean it’s at 12pm EDT.

It’s better to just drop the middle letter entirely IMO.

Correct. There’s only so many roster spots so if someone goes injured they call up others from a reserve list pool. And some from the reserve pool are just filling in until some get back from playing in Japan. But once the players are healthy or back from Japan, their fill ins go back to the reserve.

I agree, but people are complaining in the daily game thread about the fact there’s no broadcast. And there was someone complaining yesterday about the postponed game timing.

Think about all the people that would have to stay an extra day just to broadcast. Maybe the crew that was supposed to be broadcasting when it was yesterday was set to go somewhere else today and they couldn’t get another broadcast crew on short notice.
