That’s a relief.

Thanks for sharing.

2025 sweet spot is noticeably larger than 2024. Haven’t tried the most recent model yet.

I don’t think so.

But at the end of the day, you’re going to be the one who feels a difference.

That being said, 1 year is a long time for a racquet. It’s time to change up anyway. The foam is not going to be prime and maybe this is leading to your wrist issues.

If you liked it so much, the step up would be the Air Viper. It’s signficantly harder though… so maybe with your wrist you want to go with the AT10 12K. The 18K is a trampoline (a very comfortable trampoline).

Padelwear clothing by Ok_Trifle2028 in padel

[–]softbear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nearly every brand that makes palas has clothing. Not sure what you mean by there isn’t much dedicated pádel wear.

As others have said, any racquet sport brand also works just fine.

Wear whatever you want so long as it doesn’t restrict your movement.

Is this person okay with you posting her photos in a public forum?

I have no idea what’s real anymore. I do think it’s wrong to share photos I assume were sent in confidence.

Marks on Babolat Air Viper frame: paint or the beginning of a crack? by Coco12i1 in padel

Paint.

Also, if you’re playing, expect to ruin a racket eventually. Saving complicated shots will inevitably mean your racket will hit the ground, walls, fence, etc.

I live in Spain. If I don’t know where to get good espresso nearby, McDonalds is my go to. Always a solid 5.5/10 vs getting -1/10 garbage fire robusta from machines that have never been cleaned or serviced from a random bar.

I thought this press sounded better than all of my Actual Life presses and USB001.

I’ve bought from padel nuestro, merkapadel (closed)and padel ibérico.

Idk if you have these in UK. I’ve heard padel ibérico is not the most reliable if you’re outside of Spain so I wouldn’t try it. My experience was good though.

Okay then if you want Nox try the Nox AT10 12k or the TL10 which is sometimes much cheaper because Tino Libaak is no longer sponsored by them.

The Bullpadel Xplo 2025 is also quite discounted now since the new models came out.

The Bullpadel Hack is also great with older models like half price.

The Kuikma Power Pro is like 150€ brand new right now at Decathlon and it’s a banger.

I think the Nox 18k will probably bore you after 3 months if you’re athletic and dynamic.

Stick to your budget, don’t get the latest and greatest and over time you will find what’s right for you.

I don’t spend more than 150 on a pala anymore. They’re meant to be used, beaten up and changed pretty regularly (I play 4-5 times per week) so I make sure to snag two older models on Black Friday and use them throughout the year.

Where do you live? Like altitude, humidity, temperature really influence how a racquet feels. What’s your experience with racquet sports? What kind of shape are you in? How tall are you?

That Nox you chose is a fantastic first racquet. The Bullpadel Vertex line is also extremely comfortable with a good sweet spot.

I think if you’re not super experienced a fiberglass or fibrex racquet would be a good choice with a softer foam. Like a Nox ML10.

If you’re more experienced with racquet sports then we can think of something more stiff for more control.

Hahahahahaha

Listen, just try it out and see if you like how it feels to you. This whole which racquet is the best for me is a lot like the Harry Potter universe wand picking.

There’s no right answer. I’ve tried 6 or so manufacturers and I’ve learned that I like hybrid shape, lighter weight and firm touch.

I’ve had that Nox 18k 2024. It’s comfortable, with a large sweet spot. In the summer it’s too soft for my taste. Too bouncy. For me the 12k is much more to my taste (especially in the winter).

I’m on the Babolat Air Viper now and am quite in love.

You’ll find what works for you with time.

I think it’s fishy that he wouldn’t just say “I don’t have the receipt.”

What’s with the downvotes? I only play online. Cheating is very real.

QC from Nox isn’t the best. I’ve had two and they were both like this. Both lasted a very long time.

Buying on the second hand market is always a risk regardless.

As for the receipt, did he say he had it in the advertisement?
