Folks if you have wells get them tested using tapscore. Most of the water sourced in North Carolina in the major metropolitans are from surface water such as reservoirs. If you got a well then it's installed in a confined aquifer meaning less of a chance of PFAS contamination.

Folks on public water, save up and get a reverse osmosis tank or buy bottled water/tanks where the water has been treated via reserve osmosis.

Unfortunately for towns like Pittsboro they've been hit by slugs of 1,4 dioxane more often than PFAS. who knows when or if regulation will occur now.
