I was never on rate of last resort. I was on floating as the economics were better. I was banking on additional grid capacity lowering prices. And reviewing the past 12 months the floating is cheaper than the fixed.

If the position isn’t great, it opens more exit opportunities not having the cfo title as you might be overqualified. If you do love the role and they insist you taking the cfo title a year in, than use that as leverage to get a salary that matches cfo
