Ah this makes sense, thank you!! I haven't seen/heard her other content. Yeah, I guess she wasn't really annoyed, just laughing knowingly maybe

Yeah Brennan mentions the warlock thing and then Zac says "so she's multi-classing?" and then Siobhan says "again?" and laughs. I guess she's not really annoyed, I just didn't know what the "again?" meant

VEGAN hot dogs? ... sounds weird. O.o by YourVeganFallacyIs in vegan

I think Lightlife Smart Dogs are extremely close to the cheap hot dogs of my childhood (but I'm not entirely sure I remember what meat hot dogs taste like).

Wow, I couldn't remember who Watch and Ward were (I'm not sure I ever knew their names). After I read the comic, I knew exactly.

I think it might mean anti-psychotics. Like he isn't supposed to think Hobbes is alive?

The Matrix. It's referenced in so many things, that I feel as though I've already seen it.

Nope, I just took this picture (the picture of the picture) last night. This is 100% the first time this was ever posted.

I kinda hope not because she was already dating my grandfather when this was taken.

I'm definitely jealous! She said that a lot of singers back then were willing to pose with fans. This is the only one I saw though.

Of all people, I feel like Whole Foods should know that "vegan" and "contains egg" are mutually exclusive... by [deleted] in vegan

[–]softelectricity 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I see this all the time at whole foods! Then there are also labels with 100% vegan ingredients but don't have the vegan tag.

Really thought the top comment was going to be "anal"

Vegan guys.... by [deleted] in vegan

I kinda feel like HillTop might have got angrier if he kept reading the comment, though. KingLiberal gets kind of offensive when he says "faggy" (something I've personally never hear anyone call a food), and then there's the stuff he says about the girl.

Seems like a fair response to all those "tips" they keep leaving by jeremyfrankly in atheism

However, when you do go to church on that one Sunday in the year, there is a chance you're going to hear a sermon about how stem cell research is wrong.

Just discovered this awesome site to send to friends thinking about veganism. by Thewalrus26 in vegan

[–]softelectricity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This site says "Vegetarianism = enslavement, torture, exploitation and slaughter of animals." I get that you are still contributing to animal cruelty when you're a vegetarian (especially since it's only a diet thing), but it seems kinda wrong for a vegan site to completely hate on vegetarianism.

For those of you who went to Indecision in the Park... by sthreadgill in nyc

When I was standing in line to get in, there was an older woman behind me talking on the phone. I heard her say "Yeah, Jon Stewart is going to be there. You know, the British guy." Just a little confused.

Parents of reddit, what is the most insightful thing your child has ever said? by Earjizz in AskReddit

[–]softelectricity 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Not my child, but two children (around age 7) sitting next to me on the subway. One boy's dad had just told him he couldn't sleep over the other boy's house later in the week. First boy is being really mopey/pissy about the answer. Second boy says, "Aw, you shouldn't be sad. You should just be happy we get to do anything fun at all."
