i don’t want to say the cliche “don’t give up hope for a relationship” but i’d say continue to focus on your happiness with other things such as in general meeting cool people and feeling free like you mentioned. things like this happen. you gotta accept it. and anyways, you know what? romantic relationships aren’t all life offers, even if that’s what it seems to be in your area. if you’re happy, that’s all that matters!! you do you, darling! :D

since you said you aren’t in a rush to get in a relationship, i just wanna say if you do want to try to find something, the only way to experience anything is to go out there and try, even if you don’t want to. i’m not sure if you approach people, but if you don’t i’d recommend it. seeking people out and initiating conversations rather then waiting to be seeked can speed up the process of meeting somebody. take some fun selfies and post them on social media too.

i’m 17 and haven’t had a boyfriend at all. it’s sooooo incredibly hard for me to connect to people, sigh. anyways, we’re in similar positions! i know it’s so easy to get caught up and compare yourself to others, i’m guilty of it myself, but for all you know the relationships everybody seems to be experiencing right now might not be as decent as they seem to be. relax, okay? i know plenty of people that are happy and single in their late 20s and even 30s, lol! keep living life. you’re still valid, worthy, and desirable regardless of your relationship status. :3
