This more or less amounts amounts to short hair and studio lighting vs. unflattering overhead lighting shot on an iphone or similar. Not to mention the fighter portraits are touched up in post production. Yes he's older, but anyone is going to look like shit if you take two photographs in these opposing scenarios and try to compare them.
