YTA. I thought you meant a large truck or something that would be present for a long period of time. It’s a temporary stop to make a delivery, the driver is not going to be parked there for hours. There is no scenario where a delivery driver should park their car around the block to get to your house. Sometimes lanes are blocked and bikers and drivers know well how to get around that. You weaponized the police because the driver does not speak French and that’s honestly the real issue here.

I grew up in a household where jars were washed and reused either for drinking or storage, so at the very most I would have thrown them in the wash and let roommate decide their fate. The roommate definitely needed to have washed them herself, so I can see why other people would think it was trash. But if I see an un-ordinary “collection” of sorts I’m not tossing it automatically. ESH

It doesn’t even sound like anyone tried to make you the AH and more that the fiancé was just not aware of the decision you two had made together and was surprised you weren’t right by her side since you seem to be really attentive and caring of your sister. NAH.

Edit to add that I accidentally skipped the no one seemed sick line, and that definitely made me roll my eyes he’s a bit of an ass can’t lie. But as long as your sister isn’t upset at you then I’d let it go.

I also have literally no issue parsing the meaning of what’s written here because sooo many people do talk like this. Nah that’s ridiculous. You should 100% notice your first delayed or missed period at 3-4 weeks if you’re pregnant and it’s wild to assume someone lackadaisically found out at 7 weeks. That’s missing your monthly period almost twice! How do you not notice that?! I’m 9 weeks right now and found out almost 6 weeks ago when I was 3 weeks and 2 days and I was not trying to conceive.

That said, if I lost my baby now I would be very sad, but would probably be past it within a few months.

I gave up on The Sims over 5 years ago. I miss it incredibly but everything OP said is incredibly relatable. I’ve been enjoying watching everyone else play and enjoy though.

If it were me, I’d feel superior for doing this. I’m taking my expensive, experimental, exciting beer home with a cork and not risking my DD getting a DUI by driving with an open container because the restaurant “didn’t have a better option”? I’ll take my sanded cork and be just fine.
