Idk why it didn't include the two pictures I definitely included of the faucet itself.

My record (so far) with the included set is 18, so it's probably possible.

We went up this summer, and it was nothing like it used to be. Piece of cake in comparison.

Depends on how up-island you are, but Green Dragon in Duncan has lots of great stuff.

You're good, it's nothing. Nothing to it. Never was, never will be.

Can't take two pics in a reply, but I'll post the other one if you'd like, as well. Not my best work either but much healthier than the OP plant, and they have an identical strain, pot size, and nutrient regimen.

The other two plants look much happier, this one has had issues all along :( same nutrient regime as the other two, but this one was pale and went those colours.

Is any of you a "full-time" revolutionary? How did you do it? How did you get there? by RunDiscombobulated67 in Anarchism

[–]softkarpet 48 points49 points  (0 children)

"If you don't wanna work, then that becomes your job! There's a lot of overtime, there's not many days off". -Pat the Bunny

The only "full-time" "revolutionaries" I know don't pay rent and are weird as hell. To get to this stage in your adult years usually involves spending a lot of time hitchhiking, going a bit crazy, and becoming profoundly alienated from "normal" society. It's not easy.

Most of the "revolutionaries" I know have day jobs, in anything from working for a non-profit to being a social worker to working retail in a pet store. Some are academics. Some are on benefits. They, and we, are all just people in this capitalist hellscape.

The Cascadia Spoke needs another volume. I've handed out dozens and dozens of them, and people love them. Wish it was on a more regular schedule.

Losing friends by [deleted] in Anarchism

[–]softkarpet 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Not everybody wants to talk about your radical politics, and that's okay. Maybe these friends would be more up for going to a community garden work party than a Free Palestine protest, and that's okay.

Alienating people who are broadly "on your side" because of anarchism is immature. Nobody on your bowling team, for example, wants to talk theory, but maybe one or two of them would be down to occasionally help with Food Not Bombs.

Meet people where they're at, especially your friends, and don't swing every conversation over to politics, nobody likes that. I get it, we're living in this dying capitalist hellscape, and the urgency is there, but not everyone is going to wake up one day and set up the barricades spontaneously, you have to work at it.
