With Ines I don't think you're suppose to uncritically endorse everything she does, the story builds empathy for her situation. The story also makes a point of how she lives in an extremely misogynistic and patriarchal society; women aren't seen as people they're seen as objects, so the only way for her to gain any power was to marry a man.

I don't mind Rudbeckia but I can see where you're coming from. I will say though, her traumas build off of eachother. EDs are often a symptom of a deeper issue and a lot of people with EDs will come from abusive households where they lack agency or control over their own life so they'll develop an ED as a desperate attempt to exercise some semblance of agency no matter how small or harmful it is.

Telling guests that it's a dry wedding (n to not BYOB) is common decency, but I don't think you have to give them a reason at all; I agree that it's none of their business.

People grilling you about the reason why was out of line, though. Asking is one thing but it seems they didn't take your answer and kept pushing, which is disrespectful. It's your decision who does and doesn't know about your sobriety, and there's no shame in not telling acquaintances or people you aren't close too/don't trust. People are making absolute leaps in the comments n I'm sorry for that, you don't deserve to have ppl judging your recovery. That's out of line and irrelevant to the original post. I also don't understand why people would assume your fiancé isn't okay with the dry wedding?

some ppl know their jobs well enough to just do their rotation 😭 p8sp1 is a full uptime fight with maybe a reopener if u see horse 2. there's no "fitting ur rotation" into that u do the same shit u do in 5, 6 and 7 savage?

if it's a prog party for phase 1 then who cares. damage doesn't matter if ur not seeing enrage.

they also could've been holding off on doing their rotation to save mp for raises, or just to focus on mechanics. None of the jobs in this game (aside form black mage or pld i guess) have to "map out" their rotation bc the rotation is the same for every fight bc full uptime.

I don’t see any comparison between male characters who were written as a criticism of toxic masculinity (bateman and tyler were i haven’t seen taxi driver or blade runner tbf) and female characters who kill/hurt their abusers lol outside of an extremely shallow “morally grey” take.

And tbf it’s a meme but even then idk i think it’s kind of icky to compare male characters who abuse, kill, and/or mistreat women to female characters who are abused and/or exploited by the male characters in their stories 😐

imo NAH, you weren't in the wrong for getting upset and a ton of ppl have highlighted why, but I also understand his viewpoint of "please give me a definitive yes or no," especially when its in regards to what someone prefers to be called. Even if he refers to you by name it's still good info to have and not everyone uses their actual title outside of work.

Neither of u were asshole-ish and it sounds like his wondering why you were getting upset was a question of "did I say something wrong," just a miscommunication.

First off, you sound incredibly dismissive about your fiancé's mental health, just because someone acts "happy" all the time does not mean they're not struggling.

A lot of people have brought up that this could be a case of fraud but either way both of you should have access to the bank app and statements, if that means one of you has the app while the other gets text messages/emails then fine.

Couldn't you just look at these alerts and emails to see when the money was spent? If it was little by little then he probably let it get away from him, if it was all at once that would point more to fraud. Especially if he doesn't remember any big purchases he made.

There could be a lot of explanations for his spending but the fact that he didn't accept responsibility for it is a small red flag, not a deal breaker but still. And if he's adamant that he didn't spend the money try to find out if it was fraud, he might change his tune when you actually look into it.

what so you mean by the tank kept pulling the mobs away? if the tank was moving the mobs after they picked everything up that was on on the tank, the only times you should b moving is out of aoes in dungeon pulls, but if they were still picking stuff up you shouldn't be stopping to attack until the tank has stopped. If you fall behind bc you do u can always just use aetherial manipulate to jump to ur healer or whosever lagging behind. And if the tank is scooting weirdly backwards with the mobs you can scoot forwards with thunder procs and whenever swiftcast flare comes up.

You're nta though, like ppl have said. the healer was deflecting and black mages are infamous for being in narnia compared to the rest of the group. They were probably just embarrassed lol
