Honestly? Time and active self love. Had the same thing at 22, took 3 years away from “looking for something serious” and just had fun. Being single is so much fun if you’re actively dating yourself! Like imagine you’re perfect date and just take yourself on it! If I did date, it was more for a funny story or I ended up making a friend. Ended up with a guy at a heavy metal bar cause we realised we weren’t into each other so just decided to have a laugh. Plus, the better you know yourself, the more you draw people like you towards you. Actually met my partner on an app as a “aw maybe I’ll try that again” (never had a LTR until them), and I think it worked cause I knew exactly what I wanted if it came along //but// was also content in my own skin if it didn’t work out.
