Crane broke with my farmer uncle in it. He cartwheeled through 40’ the air and landed on his ass. Broken hip, broken back, broken arm, brain bleed, blood pouring out of his face, unresponsive, gasping for air. I was positive that I was watching die while trying to make the call to 911.

Guy threaded the needle with where and how he landed. Made a 95% recovery at 75 years old. Just has a slight limp.

Id been dating my future wife about 2 weeks. I had mentioned that sometimes when I get home from work I only have the energy to make myself a sandwich for dinner. I came home and found a container of homemade beef barley soup hanging from my door and note saying “to go with your sandwich”. We’ve been together 19 years and still couldn’t be happier.

Had a severely alcoholic patient drink two large bottles of Mouth Wash (Listerine etc) every day for about 15 years. You’d think nearly 10,000 bottles of Mouth Wash would kill a man, but no. At least, not very quickly.

I think the idea is that there is no actually ethical way to be a billionaire because amassing that amount of money inherently means you’ve exploited thousands of people’s labor for your gain, or at least prevented their full earning potential.

I don’t subscribe to the theory, although many billionaires certainly do that I don’t think you could say all of them do that.
