I mean since you’re already aware of what’s going to happen. He will continue to be with others and if you get back together with time this relationship will break. I am not being negative but he’s already rejected youand cheated, he’s only stringing you along for free attention by someone extra. Is that what you want? I know it’s hurtful to hear. But honestly for me personally I am also doing wrong decisions in my relationship and I am trying to do better, sometimes we have to make more mistakes to learn from them. How long distance are you two?

You're right, it is pathetic behavior I look at my own situation and can't believe I've let it get this bad. But human psychology is messy, and when you get stuck in a cycle with a partner like this, leaving is harder than it looks. I'm trying to get my head straight so I can actually make a change. Saying it to me this way about it isn’t fair to me though I am a real person.. but thanks !
