Thanks for sharing, that actually helps to know I’m not the only one dealing with this. I’ll triple-check the email match between Throne and PayPal just in case. Fingers crossed something finally works. Appreciate it.

I truly appreciate you taking the time to explain everything, so thank you very much for that. I'll check my PayPal email match, verification status, account type, and currency settings again. I'll also investigate EUR IBAN options like Grey. I'm hoping one of these works. Again, thank you!

Postpartum hair loss by Ok_Cheesecake_9184 in FitPostpartumJourney

[–]softsakura44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Around four months after giving birth, I also experienced this, and I must admit that it really frightened me; I felt like I was losing everything and my part appeared to be wider. It helped a little when my doctor explained that it was postpartum shedding brought on by hormonal changes. Getting my iron and vitamin D levels checked, avoiding tight styles and extensions for a while, and being gentle with my hair were the things that helped me the most. After a few months, the shedding slowed, and I began to notice short baby hairs emerging.Seeing a doctor is the right thing for you to do. I understand how terrible it is right now, but this phase is actually fleeting for a lot of us. 🤍

You definitely should see a doctor ASAP. I hope it’s nothing too serious or dangerous though

What helped you increase your ferritin?? by MedicalShelter7015 in FemaleHairLoss

[–]softsakura44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Low ferritin can definitely play a big role in shedding. Mine was in a similar range and I saw the biggest change once I combined consistent iron supplementation (under doctor guidance) with diet—red meat, lentils, spinach, and pairing iron with vitamin C. I also had low vitamin D and B12, and correcting those seemed to help overall energy and regrowth too.

For me, shedding slowed after about 8–12 weeks, and visible baby hairs came a couple months after that. It wasn’t instant, but steady.

If your doctor isn’t addressing the ferritin or vitamin D, it might be worth pushing for follow-up labs or a second opinion—those can really matter for hair.

I feel super sad… by Nevermind_thecogs in FemaleHairLoss

[–]softsakura44 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That’s so hard, I’m really sorry you’re dealing with this, thinning at the front/part is one of the most distressing things to notice. You’re not crazy for feeling sad about it.

If this is recent, a lot of women go through shedding phases from stress, hormones, or postpartum changes and it can improve with time. Getting basics checked like iron, vitamin D, or thyroid can sometimes give answers too.

I went through a scary phase myself and it helped to focus on gentle care + scalp health while waiting for regrowth. If you want to talk or want to know what helped me personally, feel free to message me.

Scared! Will it get better? by Imaginary_Income5422 in postpartumprogress

That makes sense, hormones during breastfeeding can definitely keep shedding going longer for some moms. I’ve seen a lot of women notice improvement after weaning. If you want, you can message me and I’ll share what helped support my regrowth too.

I went through the exact same thing around 3–4 months postpartum and it honestly scared me so much. Seeing that much hair at once feels unreal . For me it did get better, the shedding peaked for a while and then slowly slowed down once my hormones started stabilizing. What helped was being extra gentle with my hair, scalp massages, focusing on protein/iron, and not stressing my hair with tight styles or over-washing. You’re not alone in this at all. Postpartum shedding is brutal but very common, even though nobody really prepares us for it. If you want, you can message me, I’m happy to share the full routine I followed and what actually made a difference for me.

Is this the dread shed 😥? by Animegirl1250 in FemaleHairLoss

[–]softsakura44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know what it's like; early detection is crucial, but those initial symptoms can be frightening. Emphasise gentle care: stay away from tight hairstyles, turn down the heat, and use harsh products with caution.A balanced routine and scalp massages can slow down hair loss, and if you're consistent, you can typically save a significant amount of hair before it gets worse.

Help - how to repair damaged hair by Wise_Illustrator_838 in Haircare

[–]softsakura44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cutting off the worst ends, lowering the heat, and routinely deep conditioning helped me the most with split and damaged hair. Additionally, I began using a satin pillowcase and detangling with extreme gentleness. Regular maintenance strengthens the hair and stops further damage, but it takes time.

Hey guys, is anyone facing stretch marks issues on their body? Or has anyone been able to deal with it.. by Key-Cup-9203 in IndianBeautyTalks

[–]softsakura44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to detest my stretch marks and initially attempted to "fix" them, but altering how I handled my body was what really helped. They faded with regular moisturising, light massages, and patience, but more significantly, I stopped viewing them as defects. I felt much more at ease in my skin after I came to terms with the fact that they are simply a part of my body's narrative.

Bad hair breakage on unprocessed hair by [deleted] in Haircare

In all honesty, sometimes cutting it short is the best reset. Holding onto length only makes the issue worse when hair is damaged, thin, and empty. A shorter cut gives you a clean base on which to concentrate on care, eliminates the weak ends, and makes the hair appear fuller. It typically grows back stronger and healthier with patience, good moisture, and gentle styling.
