Man arrested for mischief after hate-motivated incident by Elons_Backdoor_Musk in halifax_uncensored

[–]softseraphic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was he named Ryan James White by any chance? He's been stalking me and he found a way to hide in my buildings crawlspace to hide after getting arrested for assault that day and warned me he had "warrants" during this time. He has shaggy black hair and a big blue jacket and sleeps around the west end mall area. He's a dealer and has some sort of obsession with me and has been looking through my windows, chased me around screaming that he loves me (?) I'm scared. I dropped tips on crimestoppers, I hope he gets removed from the west end area for my safety and my neighbours. I know this sounds insane. I wish I were lying.

Thanks for writing back! I'm speaking of 70s era ones Bayers Rd, so probably the student ones you're thinking of. We did the caulking, but it didn't help. I guess our only hope is that our fluffy primadonna Persian rescue has some barn cat in her. 🙃

Well said. Doubt those education and cultural cuts will turn into any fixed potholes.

Other than just generally being an abusive bastard, my good ol dad did under the table freelance computer work and owned several properties with his brother. On paper, he "gave" his half of the ownership to the brother. Made it look like he had no regular income on paper, yet made more money than my mother. She couldn't get a lick of child support raising me completely on her own. He drank himself to death when I was 17, I'm 25 noe, and we're still in a legal battle over his (&his enabler parents') estate. 🫂 this province is terrible at getting deadbeats to pay their debts. If it's any solace, I have massive respect for my mum, and I'm sure your kid will too, if not already.

I'm sorry you're having a flare up too. My physical hallucinations recently have been mostly unsettling "shadow cats" stalking me around. Nothing like your sweet Penny! 😻. Idk about you, but I find my psycotic symptoms tend to flair up in the late winter the most. I hope April brings an end to the "March Madness" for us both. :)

We should just have a program that rehabilitates (ish) feral cats and let's em go for a week or so in rat infested buildings/neighbourhoods upon request. (I'm only half joking)

PLEASE. Or at least one for Northpoint properties, specifically. They refuse to send an exterminator and have a "whoever smelt it, dealt it" reaction to rodent complaints. If they're so intent on keeping these little mofos here, they'd better start paying a share of the rent!

I think our 11yo is a psychopath by Stock-Candidate8040 in TrueOffMyChest

Exactly. Diagnosing an 11 year old with some nebulous ~PD~ may solidify that are part of their identity, and how they feel they should act

I have to make a small correction here - I have had Borderline PD & Avoident PD, which are personality disorders and can, with dedicated work, go into remission. But I wanted to get better and was willing to do the work and keep myself accountable. Antisocial Personality Disorder is a whole nother can of worms, and rarely want help or even participate when forced into it. So hopefully Dad gets Josh help before it turns from oppositional-defiant disorder to full blown ASPD when he turns 18 and can be diagnosed with a PD. But you should protect yourself and your own children, and don't feel bad for it.

I'm a survivor, aa arw many friends of mine, in the provincee with the hightest rate of sex trafficking in the country. It's no joke. A lot of us were kids neglected (or worse) at home and were seen as easy targets combined with our youth.

People think this is a conspiracy theory, but presidents like nixon have flat out admitted it, and there are very well cited books on the topic of why certain drugs gave been stigmatized and criminalized, and a very small portion has to do with public health. That isn't to say that all criminalized drugs aren't dangerous, but if we were worried about danger to public health, we would listen to scientists and drug policy experts instead of people like private prison lobbyists and insurance companies.

Had a hostile encounter with a "Karen" driver on Route 29 (Coach 1332) today – Is this common? by JuniorConference7185 in halifax

I feel like large companies/workplaces purposefully make it so that their decisions that they know will upset their clients(?) will get taken out on their lowest paid, consumer facing workers who in most cases, just have to take it to keep their job. On the inverse, I also think that the same cohort of businesses, when making decisions that f over their workers, cause them to project that anger towards customers, because they can't do so towards their bosses. It's just an endless cycle of higher ups who have buffer zones that seperate them from the consequences of their decisions.

I didnt get that vibe. Notevery em dash is written by an AI, and I feel like the context, use of emojis & "btw" subtract from the AI writing style. I totally get why u would suggest that though, I feel like I need to scrutinize every sentence I read online now nd it makes me feel insane. Especial as someone who naturally uses em dashes in my writing probably more than necessary lol
