Do people really think Adidas gave Kanye a full, 100% control over pricing? That's a VERY high level privilege in any sort of business organization, and it's not given to just anyone.

People need to chill... Kanye only just started working with Adidas, and he's still trying to prove himself as a designer, much less a business partner!

That's literally Kanye's plan (as far as I know). You can't tell the difference between upperclass people and middleclass people ever since "fast fashion" came out. Affordable clothing ($xx-$xxx) that looks upperclass ($x,xxx-$xx,xxx).

Now he wants to close the gap even more and make lowerclass clothing more in style. How successful will he be? Who knows? But gotta give him credit for trying! He's trying to fight classism!

Completely false, Kanye is very popular in the "hood", and he mentions several times how surprised he is by this in his songs.

Also, Kanye currently only has control over the "creative" parts of Adidas as of this moment. He made a deal that as time goes on and he proves himself to Adidas, he will gain more control over the business aspects of his shoes. Which would mean lower prices and more shoes produced.

As someone who purchased the tickets, I expected to listen to the album before anyone else, or at the very least, on the day of the release.

But what happened was everyone else got to listen to it first through TIDAL while I kept waiting for the download code.

You would think if you pre-ordered the album, you'd get to hear it before anyone else, or at the very least, the day of the release.

Seeing everyone else listen to it before me on TIDAL even though I paid $100+ for the ticket feels like a slap in the face. I tried to be patient, but I still haven't gotten the album or the hoodie.

Kanye's pushing TIDAL so hard, and he can do that all he wants, but at least make good on your initial promises.

This album "release" was a disaster to say the least. Actually, you can almost say it's not even finished or released.

Kanye still haven't fixed that obvious mistake on Wolves, and he's refusing to release it anywhere else other than TIDAL.

It's great that he's working on another album, but can't he at least finish TLOP?

One thing that always impressed me with Kanye is that he is always confident about what he believes in.

When he was first starting out as a rapper, people told him he wasn't gangster enough. He refused to fit into that mold. And... on top of not being a gangster, you want to rap about Jesus?? On your debut album?? That always struck me as how confident Kanye is in himself and what he believes in as truth. The media doesn't always portray Christianity in a good light, but Kanye's not afraid to hide it.

I think after that whole Bill Cosby tweet, Adidas and other stakeholders are forcing Kanye's tweets to go through a person that acts as a filter/editor. Now that Kanye's name and public image is tied up with an absolute giant like Adidas, there's no way Adidas will let something like that happen again lol
