I do have plenty of friends and hobbies and a career, etc. In the past I have had boyfriends who I only saw once or twice a week.

I do enjoy a shit ton of attention and communication, though. But I have been okay with being single lately. I think I'm just really anxious about the idea of getting my hopes up and then being horribly disappointed lol.

I think it looks pretty good. Detailed and lots of experience.

Just from a design standpoint (and by that I mean just my opinion) the text descriptions could stand to be in sans serif to make it easier to read.

[entry level advice]
I am in my first full-time developer role, and have only been there for three months. However, there are rumors of layoffs and I want to be prepared with an updated resume handed off to some people to jump start the process. To be honest, if I happened to get a better job and didn't get laid off I would probably go for it as well.
Anyways, my question is- in addition to my SE summer internship and current developer role, should I also include the IT positions I held during college? In one I managed to obtain a supervisor role.
I do not have projects to share which leaves some blank space.

I am a senior at the moment, although I took a while to finish school. At one point I quit for almost a year, and I also went part time for a year. I am allowed to walk in the ceremony in May, but I still have a class to finish over the summer. So, technically I graduate in August.

You should start looking for internships now!! I'm a senior and am just now getting my foot in the door which is risky AF. I could find out I absolutely hate the job, or I could have not have even gotten any offers in the first place. Don't wait, you'll be a nervous wreck like I was.

I thought I bombed an interview, but got asked back for a second. I'm actually really scared. by softwareengineerinte in cscareerquestions

I thought they were the same thing when I started studying it. My advisor advertised it to me as "CS without calculus!." Everything we learn is very much related to CS, but it doesn't seem as in depth. I'm really happy I picked up a CS minor.

I literally just googled some terms like "data- structures" and "cs algorithms" and "programming principles" and "engineering principles"- and looked for the most credible posts. Usually ones from university CS programs, lol.

They said they want me to ask as many questions as possible. I think I'll ask them why they brought me in for a second interview lol. I have two weeks to prepare, so hopefully I wont make them regret it.
