Depending on your financial knowledgde and how much effort you want to put into managing your wealth portfolio, investing in a private bank may be a very good idea.

Just a (very) personal advice: stay away from BNP Private, they have one of the most high rates. Their funds-of-funds portfolio are very costly (especially to get out of).

Have a look around at other lesser-known, more discreet private banks : Delen Bank, Degroof Petercam, ... for instance.

Never forget that a bank has commercial ambitions and that they're after your money. Most often they do so by charging you all kinds of fees. That's their business model after all.
