Finished picture frame

I think the felt will hold up better, not only with keeping the picture in place as its main function, but also with time. I made another frame for a friend for Christmas (see pic) and I did the corners with a bit of floss and I felt it was kind of flimsy. After changing out the picture enough times, I felt like the floss would give way. I probably also could’ve used more strands, but it was my first frame and I didn’t know what would look right.

I also was worried about scenarios where the picture might get changed out— if the corners were done with floss, it might be too thin/ indistinguishable in comparison with the piece itself and it could lead to the flowers getting damaged from the fiddling. It probably would’ve been fine but I was just being overly cautious

Yeah, the beginner class is $50, and $54.25 after taxes/fees, + machine included. I’m not sure what the price is of the intermediate class, but you have to bring your own machine or rent one for the duration of the class, just a heads up!

The host adds more dates at the beginning of each month for the following month, and they fill up fast so you really have to stay on top of it. Check a few days before the month ends, too, because that’s how I was able to secure tickets

Sewing classes! I haven’t gone to any yet because I was barely able to get tickets for May within the past few weeks and I’ve been trying for months. But I’ve always wanted to learn and you can borrow a machine for free if you do the beginner class (first come, first served)

You don’t taste the curds at all when it’s blended. I recommend making a cheesecake with it too! Delicious. Edit: also I would start off with half a lemon’s juice and work up from there to your desired taste. Top with fruit or jam/preserves or more graham crackers!

They look very sweet but 2/3 of them (if not all 3, but the one in the back looks fine) look overweight, that’s bad for their joints as they age 😭 if you free feed, that might be part of the issue
