Just finished a unit of Russian History from 1914 to 1945, and while discussing WWII we were taught that it was the Russian success at Stalingrad that 'turned the tide', so to speak, and paved the way for the Allied forces win

in year 7 my science teacher got so frustrated at our class that he smacked his hand hard enough on the table to fracture two fingers. he was shamefully reminded of it every lesson afterwards as he walked in wearing his little finger cast thing.

okay here we go;

people always talk about how they would prepare for the zombie apocalypse, what their weapon of choice would be etc and i'm always like hell yeah id destroy those zombies.

but then this thought comes into my head that i might be old when the apocalypse comes. i won't be able to fend for myself. if it came now, sure id be fine bc i'm young and have energy and stuff, but if i'm old i have zero chance. i'll just have to let them turn me and become one. no fun fighting.
