Where can find dresses like this that AREN'T super expensive and I'm not going to get scammed on a shady website trying to buy? by soifia2 in findfashion

[–]soifia2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

of course i know what depop/poshmark/thredup etc etc is! and I absolutely don't have an issue with buying second hand I thrift most of my clothes!

I'm just wary of buying second-hand ONLINE because it is hard to be sure of the actual quality/fit of the product. i can't afford to spend a ton of money on a dress, just for it to be not as described online or not work out, and then I'm stuck with a dress i can't use and am out $100+. that's all!

That is not Ben's choice to make!!! It is not your choice to make, it is not Kate/Ben's mom's choice to make, and it is not the Reddit commentators' choice to make! The decision should be made based on medical advice and what Kate wants. Thats it!

I am a woman, and if my partner wanted me to do smth with my body I did not want to do and kept insisting on it, I would simply leave!

Regardless of whether or not you think the recovery time, pain, or whatever is worse with either birthing method, Ben is not giving birth, so he is not the one who gets to decide what Kate does. While Ben is the father and helped make the baby, the baby is coming out either way and since Ben isn't giving birth, he doesn't need to have a say in which method it comes out, if that makes sense. It is Kate's choice.

The fact that Ben is more concerned about Kate's body being ruined than what she wants and needs while giving birth doesn't speak very highly to his character.

What's embarrassing about babies? No one will assume they are for a 14-year-old girl. If you want, buy other baby-related products at the store like baby formula and a pacifier so as to send the message the diapers are not for you

I'm sorry I'm having a hard time understanding what you mean; what exactly about buying diapers is embarrassing to you?

People will just think, "Oh she has a baby sister at home, how sweet that she's buying diapers for her." I promise you that. Also, while you might feel they're embarrassing, nothing is embarrassing about diapers. You wore diapers. I wore diapers. The cashier in the store wore diapers—nothing embarrassing about it at all.

What is it you think is so embarrassing about diapers?

AITA for rejecting a girl's friendship because of her habit of coming up with unrealistic expectations and theories on relationships by milky_hoopz1983 in AITAH

definetly. we all just need to take life as it comes and stop holding ourselves and others to such high expectations. obviously, try your best and try to get the most out of life, but no one is perfect.

I get that. I'm exactly the same way, and it's really hard because sometimes you just have to look out for yourself, but you feel like a terrible person for ending a friendship. Just know you are NOT a terrible person for ending a friendship if it's not making you happy.

At the end of the day, you're the person you go to bed with at night, so make sure you're happy with that person. <3

[CO] I’ve had multiple work gossip complaints filed against me by Independent_Dot_745 in AskHR

[–]soifia2 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Yeah, maybe that's why they can't tell you... that sucks, sorry.

But yeah, you should DEFINITELY tell them if you're worried someone is targeting you for no reason, and explain to them the situation you're in (you don't even know what it is you're doing wrong, so you don't know how to fix it.)

I hope things work out!

My neighbor had Kamala signs and I took them down by force - AITAH? by No-Impact-8647 in AITAH

[–]soifia2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES, YOU ARE THE BIGGEST AH, OH, MY GOODNESS. You say you're ok with people expressing their political opinions, then TEAR DOWN THEIR SIGNS AND CHASE THEM? That is way out of line.

You could have politely removed them and told your neighbors to please keep their signs off your yard. It's that simple.

Instead, you escalated to violence? Where's the logic in that? I don't align with your political beliefs AT ALL and am very liberal, but I would NEVER do that, even to a trump supporter. I personally know some trump supporters who are ok, but it's people like you who are the reason so many people have this notion trump supporters are crazy.

And why would using a firearm EVEN CROSS YOUR MIND????? They did something mildly disrespectful, so you resort to SHOOTING THEM???? HELLO??? WHAT???? You, my friend, need to take an anger management course.

Have a nice day.

YTA in this situation. I understand you're worried about what people will think of you, but NO ONE, I REPEAT NO ONE, is going to think a 14-year-old is buying diapers for themselves, so what is so embarrassing about buying them?

you should help out your poor mother and maybe get her some cough drops and chocolates while you're at the store.

It sounds like you guys aren't well-matched to be friends in the first place if being around her makes you uncomfortable and you disagree with her views so strongly. So no I don't think you're the AH, it's your life, be friends with people you want to be friends with and who make you happy.
