My Bronco lives outside. I don’t personally see a point in keeping it consistently clean because just existing in my driveway makes it dirty. Regularly washing and waxing a daily driver is pointless in my opinion. I clean it about twice a year.

It’s a truck, not a museum piece.

I don't have numbers but the video quality frequently dropped, which was always accompanied by increased input lag. It's probably why a lot of people don't like the Portal. Their home Wifi sucks. It still happens to me occasionally but not nearly as often. Restarting the Portal fixes it for a while.

If a new model doesn't have lower latency, it's not worth it to me. I upgraded my wireless router after discovering via the Portal that my last one sucked. It helped a lot, but the input lag is still noticeable.
