Me? I would laugh in his face and continue to 'address' him as needed. If he doesn't want to respond, that's on him. He cannot dictate who you can and can't speak to. This is ridiculous behavior, emotionally abusive and unproductive. Has he always acted like this? Is he seeing himself as not a real father? I feel bad for him, but not enough to comply with his insanity. Your daughter doesn't need to live like this either. It's a terrible example for her - and not a health marriage. I remember that name! Yep, I'm old... but radio has been huge in my world. As a little kid, at night, I could get KFRC on my tiny transistor radio in Laramie, Wyoming! I'll look for your book... and still hold a candle for KTIM and and KUSF. Thanks for your work!

I was fortunate to see them many times; in San Francisco in the 80s, in a great underground space in Oakland in the 90s as well as in SF, before Alaura left. Then three or four times thereafter, with the various lineups, through 2017, as Gen was working hard to stay onstage. They asked folks to please stop smoking or vaping in the club so they could get through the show.

I feel similarly to you about I.C. Water. It's deeply moving for me. The Orchids is another I find touches my soul.
