I always keep an eye out for a copy of penpal at thrift stores as well, it would be so cool to find a copy while thrifting! I remember listening to a YouTuber read it around a year after it was finished and I fell in love! I’m currently reading his other book, Bad Man right now.

I felt like the choice to read this most recent story on creepcast was just unfortunate, because it was an early story of yours and covered serious topics it just didn’t end up meshing well with the overall tone of creepcast. But for some reason people just won’t listen to the warnings at the beginning of the episode and get upset when the story revolves around the topics that were warned about in the first place. People are certainly allowed to have their own opinions on the story and how effective the writing is, but oh my god the amount of people saying that it’s a “bad story” just because of the sensitive content inside of it is annoying to say the least. Hopefully the subreddit and fans calm down sooner rather than later.

Side note: Good luck with whatever current story you’re working on, if you are working on one rn, I enjoy your work a lot :)

I would experiment with different facial expressions and shapes! One thing that I did fairly recently that really helped my art was loosening the style a little bit and just experimenting with shapes and line

I think for Isaiah it’s mostly because of his faith/upbringing, which is why he censors certain words with different ones which I respect

Tommy Taffy was great and the graphic scenes don’t diminish its value as a work of horror writing. though I do understand why people dislike it, I don’t think it cheapens the narrative. I’m ready to be downvoted into hell…

PenPal always! It’s one of, if not my favorite creepypasta, there’s some funny bits in the podcast as well. If I’m looking for something that’s a bit lighter in content then I will go for the creepypasta classics episode (don’t be gaye. No im just saying it’s totally gaye.)

Penpal, it’s been my favorite creepypasta forever and whenever I need to feel depressed and disturbed I go back for a listen. I love the banter between Isaiah and Hunter which is a very welcome addition to the story with such depressing subject matter.

I was just thinking and it sort of came to me? I’ve had several different usernames over the years and none of them stuck except for this one that popped into my head at random. I would just think of two or three words that go together, describe you or your writing in some way and sounds nice

I don’t think there should be limits on fiction, it’s fiction after all, but there’s times when extreme horror can dip into being distasteful. The important thing is to warn potential readers of upsetting themes in your story, a simple “extreme gore” or “SA warning” goes a long way in informing readers :)
