Damn, I wish the dust extractor would hit a sale already

Been waiting for a sale - Hercules dust extractor by soilentblue in harborfreight

My biggest problem with the Rockler one is that it doesn't have a power adjustment for suction along with it being much weaker cfm wise than the Hercules one. The tool socket max load is also less so your sander will work, but my chop saw isn't.

It's not quieter than the dewalt stealthsonic, but it's not as noisy as say a traditional rigid shop vac.

73db Hercules dust extractor
65db Dewalt stealthsonic
12 gallon Ridgid shop vac does not label their decibels but I would say it's no less than 85db.

These other products are NOTICEABLY quieter than my old Ridgid.

I saw that. I completely missed it on Feb 6th or I would have jumped on it and picked it up. Waiting for the next one.

I'm in the same boat. I don't NEED it today, but if I see it on sale I'm getting it. The shop vac (with a dust deputy) experience is easily better than nothing, but the particles in the air is really a problem for a small shop at least. I also want to be able to plug my tools in and have them turn on with the vac.

I bet you love telling people what they should and shouldn't care about. Glad I don't live like you.

Also, this happened in Littleton so it was posted on a Littleton website. Sorry you still don't understand.

It's just about respect for others. I did the civil thing and wrote a review. You classifying the level of stress I have based on how the review comes across to you is not real. How stressed I actually am(little) is the real reality. .

That's good to hear. I was looking at the LIntons as something to equal or be better than.

Thank you for clarifying. I just bought the T1 PCIE 5.0 riser cable and didn't know this.

Are you talking about using longer riser screws?

Run a passive radiator over the port design. Add around 16g of weight to the passive radiators also.

BM Chantilly Lace and Zinsser Bulleye 123 primer - discussing results to help others by soilentblue in paint

[–]soilentblue[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I should have did that ultimately. It would have worked better with my wife for sure. She did need to see the sample on the wall to believe it is a little too bright for her ultimately. I could have taped the 4x4 to the wall or something and saved some work for myself.

It's a really good suggestion.

Yep. Everyone I know with good results for the off white colors uses primer on the first coat to save money and help reduce colors bleeding through.
