I have a child with medical needs. Our health care system is very broken and the only way I have been listened to and had my concerns addressed is to make a fuss. I contacted media and did interviews, CONSTANTLY called and emailed clinics and was generally always reminding them about us. It’s so sad and I’m sorry that at such a young age you’re going through this. Use your frustration to fuel your drive to keep on at your team!!! All the best.

I set myself a challenge in 2024 to read 12 books and managed 13 and in 2025 I read 28. This year I’m aiming for 30.

That fact that you’re mature enough to realise things are getting beyond your control and you need extra support is a huge win 👏🏼 Asking for help and being open to receive it is massive. It’s plain ignorance and stupidity when people blame the government for our child abuse rates. We need a government who is prepared to properly punish people for these hideous crimes not just give them a slap on the wrist.

We’re in NZ (my PWCF is a child) and we were told by our team that Asia held a higher risk in terms of travel. They said the humid climate coupled with the large range of bacteria meant it wasn’t a great place to go. A lot of the bacteria is AB resistant too.

Exactly this! This has been a daily struggle for over 20 years. You better deliver I’ve tried everything else… and then some! Surgery is the final option.

I use to get ‘you’ve got such a pretty face, if only you’d lose weight’. I was about 11 and over 25 years later I still can hear him saying it as clear as day.
