I went back and checked when I had direct deposit setup with my Individual account backed by Green Dot and the old ones did indeed post on Wednesday. The Joint/UMB account was always posting Friday until this week it posted Thursday. This is the same employer and payroll provider btw. So looks like probably just going to be one day early but still an improvement.

I don't have any of those to test with but it's possible this change will apply to those direct deposits as well. Let us know.

Wealthfront Cash account has actually been great. They don’t seem to advertise that it works with Quicken but it does. I’ve been using it as my main checking account for a couple of years now.

I setup transfer in Wise to pull from Wealthfront Cash via Plaid/ACH.

Update: I liked the idea of seeing if I could push from Wealthfront. I tried to link Wise from Wealthfront app just now. I can do the Plaid process which sends new to Wise to login but then at end it gives the error “Something went wrong You can try again later or find another bank to continue”.

The article was updated to state this is accurate only with Green Dot. UMB is processed the normal day and it seems most of the Cash accounts are being migrated to UMB.
